I've owned Pioneer 300 (G-PION) for nearly three years now and keep her at Scone in Scotland, EGPT.

She is the perfect aircraft for myself, my two sons (both are pilots), and my wife who loves to fly as a passenger.

So far we have been to Sweden twice, as far north as Ostersund, plus France twice including Cannes.

Our most recent trip was to Friedrichshafen where we completed a breathtaking flight round the Alps in perfectly still and clear conditions.

The best attributes of this aircraft for me are its fast economical cruise at 125kts, its safe slow speed handling and the low stall speed.

The retractable gear sets it apart from most other types of aircraft in this size category.

The pictures in the gallery above are G-PION at Alvdalen Airfield in Sweden, and one from the recent Friedrichshafen trip across the Alps.
